The Mapping Assistant takes a raw bureau file and parses it into a fast, efficient memory-resident
database of segments and fields. What's more, the Mapping Assistant allows you to access fields converted
to a common format as well as the original bureau format.
Mapping Assistant Features:
- Dynamic Abstraction Layers - Once mapped, you can switch from (common) COM Abstraction layer where fields from
any bureau are accessed in a common way; or (bureau) EFX,EXP or TUC
abstraction layers where fields are referenced by their bureau specific names.
- Sort Option - Segments can be sorted on multiple fields.
- API - An easy-to-use API is provided that returns a field value for a given segment.
- ADO Recordset - The Mapping Assistant can produce a Microsoft ADO Recordset for each segment type in the map.
